A couple of minor issues with the forum have been noticed and logged with our web developer for investigation.
1. New posts are sent to the end of the list (aka the oldest post) until they are opened to read or reply when they are then positioned correctly at the start of the list as the newest post.
2. Some users are experiencing duplicate posts being created when they add a post.

The problem of posts being sent to the end of the list has been fixed.
The order is fixed to the date they are added, descending ; so newest at the top.
Duplicate posts is under investigation.

Still getting an issue with the most recent posts in the correct order of date last posted? you have to seem to go through multiple pages to find even current threads?

Re the problem of repeat postings, our web developer has not been able to identify the cause.
As an improvement he is going to implement a routine the deletes all repeat posts every night.
Some forum members are deleting repeats of their own posts, keep doing this please.

I had the problem when i first used the forum but it hasnt happened to me for some time now. Is it a particular browser or operating system rather than the web server. Have people tried deleting cookies and clearing browser history as this fixes quite a lot of issues. Just a suggestion as i used to work in IT support .

You may be correct. I did a search through the forum a few weeks back for all the duplicates and who's postings they were. The same few people seemed to be suffering the duplicates (unless everyone else deleted them!). This info was passed to our web developer to help in the investigation.

Why am I still experiencing duplicate posts ffs? Surely 5 months is long enough to sort out this problem. Come on, get it fixed already!

Hi,
As I said in my August post copied below, we have not been able to find a cause and fix the duplicate posting issue. I will check with our web developer to confirm if the nightly duplicate post deletion was implemented, even so you will still see duplicate posts until they are zapped.
