Fishing here on Sunday people. Has anyone any recent info on the place and how I should tackle it and even what I should be fishing for? Thanks

Re: Mease Harlastonhi mate walked Harlaston 1st day of season, weed choked and very low, few deeper pegs on the bends, but you,ll need somthing to hack into most pegs. Used to hold a few big chub, years ago,i would travel light an rove about. Oh an the lay bye only has room for about 3 cars, and the local dog walkers park there as well, hope info helps good luck.

Re: Mease HarlastonI fished it last summer, had nothing but a few chub around 2-3lb didn't get a sniff of anything else so that would be my target fish. As hgv says bit overgrown in places like in the woods, probably good for a short roving section on the twisty bit with somewhere else in mind as back up. Let us know how you get on as it's a lovely looking little river

Re: Mease HarlastonI only ever do float but a light link ledger would work, either way go subtle as you can jump across the river in places and I doubt if it will be carrying too much water
