Hi all. Hope to see plenty of you at the AGM next Thursday. Be nice to meet some of you in person in stead of just as a nickname on the forum. Lets get behind those members who do care enough about the BAA to get involved and put a bit back into the sport we all love.
I'll be there, it's our club after all!
Peace & Love folks.

Re: AGM

You wasn't there then?
It was very good. The formal business was over and done with quite quickly, but then there were some very interesting presentations from various committee members. The Finance man explained how the club was doing well and could afford not to increase subs for 2018. I thought the Fisheries chap done very well, answering questions from the floor and explaining the work that had gone on.
The head Bailiff was impressive also with his presentation. All very positive.
The Chairman asked the asembled members if they had any other matters to raise, so everybody had a chance to have their say.
The whole meeting was interesting for me.

Re: AGM

It was a good turnout, more than I expected.Nice to see and speak to other members who made the effort to turn up and also nice to see some appreciation for the hard work that everyone puts in to help run the club.

Re: AGM

One has to attend the AGM in order to understand and appreciate how much work is involved in running the association. First one I've attended since Thorpe Street days.

Re: AGM

Is that the regular date then?
I did ask a while back when it was but the only reply that I got back was that the date is on your card.
Great advice if you have perfect vision - but some of us don't.
