hi guys looking at trying coppice for the first time this weekend
just after some advice,is the depths pretty much even all round the lake,as fancy just trying some float fishing etc

Think the top left corner as you leave the car park is a bit shallow but about 5 or 6 feet will put you on the bottom elsewhere 2 or 3 rod lengths out.

Tried Coppice today, reasonable conditions, windy but mild. Floatfishing maggot over loosefeed for roach, skimmers, perch etc. 2pm - 5pm. Not a bite or any sign of any fish. Around four anglers fishing for carp, apparently only one plus a bream caught.
So couldn't recommend it at the moment. Unbelievable considering the head of fish in there...
