my daugther and i walked down from arley harbour inn to see what trimpley was like. to be greeted with this lot . plus god know how many beer bottles and cans everywhere.
one day into river season and banks are a mess. (this was sat eve) .also the brook section last night, but just few beer cans and few nice leads .
good few chub and one small barbel into dusk.

Same every season mate. Stops after about September time when the solar powered brigade pack away their gear until the following June. Disgusting.

That looks more like picnic rubbish than angler's. The beach and grass areas there are used by the locals for paddling etc when the weather is hot. Litter is just getting to the point where it's ridiculous and it's a shock to see youngsters putting stuff in bins or clearing up their mess now.

I know brain dead adults do it too. There must be people who read these threads on forums but still can't work out basic sanitation. Last time out on my canal I saw two different walkers just throw their can in the bushes after looking around - the irony that both times they were energy drinks yet carrying them to the bin was too much work!
