Went to Wick and noticed that the footbridge is just starting to show signs of wear.
A few planks are working loose in a couple of places, .
The front-end is also sinking on the one side.
It needs jacking up and packing before it gets any worse.
As the really old saying goes ''a stitch in time saves nine''
Fishing was OK.
Some nice roach on hemp and tare.

Hi Tracker what are the pegs like mate fished it last year and there wernt many pegs bellow the weir did you fish bellow or above the weir. Some cracking perch along there as well had one chasing my fish like a pike before thought it was a zander at first.

Re: Wick footbridge.

Fished below weir about midway down field.
Slower and deeper above the weir.
Can be good but not always.
Same everywhere!
Used to be good size bream caught from top half dozen pegs.
Had good days using the pole at about 10 metre on castor or hemp and tare, maggot in the winter.
