Fished on a low, clear river and despite the decent leading weights most anglers struggled for a bite. It didn't help matters when a flock of cormorants worked their way through the match length during the match with anglers watching them swallowing chub and skimmers. The last time we fished the length a few weeks ago it was pike taking lots of fish, there won't be any fish left for the otters at this rate.
All three anglers in the list were all in a line together.

1st Phil Whitehouse 13 - 10 - 0 ( Small chub on waggler and maggot )

2nd John Babbington 11 - 12 - 0 ( Small chub, roach and skimmers on waggler and maggot )

3rd Martyn Knight 10 - 9 - 0 ( Small chub on waggler and maggot )
