Not fished the Avon for a while, but i did last night, low and clear, but managed this fish at dusk. She was 11.14.

Re: An Avon doubleThe answer is a LOT!! Three times a week I'm usually out, more so if I'm off work. This fish came off the back of EIGHT consecutive barbel blanks, mostly Severn sessions with a couple of Upper Trent ones thrown in. I've managed a couple of 10s on the Lower Severn, but this season really has been tough going, the extra water in the Severn last week seemed to switch it off completely, it looked perfect but was crap!

Re: An Avon doubleYes mate, I use a Sony camera on a little tripod, got an app on my phone which controls the camera with a timer, works, but can be a bit fiddly with wet hands etc.
