I didn't plan to go fishing this weekend but saw the Avon yesterday - well up and coloured - so thought I'd give it a go.
Got to Pershore and moved swims after 2 biteless hours. Had a bite within minutes of setting up in the new pitch and landed a 9lb barbel (pictured). Had another later at 8 3/4lb, both caught on chopped ham and pork.

Cheers Johnny, the other one was in just as good nick.
I struggled through most of 2016, so it's nice to get a couple on the bank.
