Coppice Lake It seems that there has been reports of otters dining on the prize carp at coppice. If only the club had invested in an otter fencing this wouldnt have happened. Unfortunately already renewed my membership. Any others feeling the same way? Posted on December 28, 2021 at 10:05 AM
holding barbel in a keepnet Why on earth do people want to keep barbel in keepnets when they are pleasure fishing? To me its bad enough when match fishermen are doing it. It causes fin damage and distress. If you want to know your overall weight for the day then catch weigh and release Really surprised that a bailiff would not want to show concern finding someone doing this but more shocking to me is that he happily posts on here. welshpool bailiff With all the comments about bailiffs recently id just like to say i posted on here for some advice as my family had arranged a weekend celebration for my 60th birthday in welshpool with the idea my son and i would steal a few hours away fishing the upper severn. Even tho i had got the heading name place wrong calling it Aberchan instead of Aberbechan the local bailiff Mike was good enough to send me his mobile number and give us some advice where would be the best place to try catch a barbel or two in very limited hours. well thanks Mike for making our stay so much nicer as i bagged a 3lb chub on saturday morning and my son caught a lovely 8lb 12oz barbel sunday morning before we left for home.
