I was after anything - I usually put a small bait on one rod and a big 'un on the other. This one took the latter and woke me up a bit! I definitely wasn't expecting to catch a carp - I hadn't fished there before so it was really a bit of a try-out. Didn't quite beat my PB but its a good second best - and the first ever river carp I've bagged, so was well pleased.
