Please slow down near Stacklands

We have been contacted by residents of Kings Caple with concerns about the speed that some BAA anglers are driving through the village.

The parish council has been reluctant to put 30mph signs up, as it would be reckless to travel faster than this through a residential area on single track roads, so extra signage was considered unnecessary.

Please keep your speed down when travelling along the narrow lanes near our Stacklands Fishery. Children from the nearby school and local residents walk along the lanes. We have also seen a number of race horses from a nearby stable being ridden along the lane past the entrance to our fishery.

So please drive slow so you can easily stop if you meet the unexpected!!
