Retreat Farm Pools, CLOSED

The BAA has had a report from EA staff dealing with monitoring Retreat Farm pools that when they turned up there recently, members were fishing in pool number 2. The “Pools Closed” signs have gone, as has the red/white warning tape.

All three pools at Retreat Farm are closed for fishing until further notice.

The Pools Closed signs have now been been replaced.

Be aware that fishing these pools when closed carries a significant risk that other pools will be infected with top mouth gudgeon via transportation of fry and spawn on tackle used to fish Retreat Farm pools.
