I took my step son Eddie on a pleasure session on Sat 2nd Sept to Eckington and he promptly managed to hook & land this 8lb 2oz Barbel on a size 16 barbless hook to 4lb line. He has only just started fishing so was quite shocked & chuffed, as was I. It was a beautiful fish with not a mark on her.
