Austin Bar AC member Norman Donnelly trounced the opposition in a recent club match along the Birmingham - Worcester canal at Alvechurch (Bridges 64 - 65). He scored with 43lb. 15oz. of mainly bream up to 4lb. plus a bonus tench. Using conventional pole tactics with worm and maggot bait he caught steadily throughout the five hour contest.
