Tuesday 16th October, BAA float only open contest fished at Arley L/B.
1st Matt Hamilton, Worcester, 49-1-0 fished waggler and caster mid river for 11 large chub to 5lb plus 1 6lb barbel. Caught 3 pegs above cromwells hole.
2nd Matt Haines, Marks Tackle, 33-14-0 fished waggler with caster and maggot for chub to 4lb and bonus roach to 1lb 10oz. Catch taken from a peg two above the ash tree in meadow 3.
3rd Chris Jones, Durmech AC, 20-14-0 fished waggler and stick with maggot for chub to 4lb from peg below the ford in meadow 3.
4th Dave Foxall, Durmech AC, 20-0-0 fished waggler and large stick mid river with caster and maggot for 5 barbel and 3 chub from the peg below the island.
Further matches are booked in for the series over the next three tuesdays 23rd, 30th October and 6th November. Draw takes place in car park, Valencia side, at 9am. Fishing 11 til 4.
