During a chub fishing trip to the Severn at Brook Section
my girlfriend and I had been fishing for aprrox 3 hours without a bite.
We moved twice and in the third spot I cast a piece of ledgered bread into
the main flow and bounced the lead through the swim, within 30 seconds my quiver
rod bent over double and the result was a 10 minute battle and the fish in the
photo attached.
Can you identify the fish, as some people I have shown say it looks like a sea
trout and some say its a salmon. And I'm just curious to find out which it is as I
have never caught either of the fish before.
Thank you
