Very deep water holding shoals of bream. Odd barbel, usually very big can also be found. Very good for pike.

Approaches

Bushley: From Upton take A4104, then turn left on to B4211 signposted Holdfast & Queen Hill. Bear left at bend for No 1 car park.

Note: The track to the car park is deeply rutted by farm machinery and when wet is only useable by 4x4s with good ground clearance.

NO FISHING AT NIGHT.

Another nice lower Severn pike caught on shads. The pike was caught at Bushley meadow 2, one of five fish caught. The weight was 20lb with others to 18lb Wayne Mctaggart B.A.A. bailiff
