DESCRIPTION

This delightful little Staffordshire river is best enjoyed by the roaming angler. Many twists and turns with shallow runs and deep holes. Chub, Perch, Pike & Barbel can all be found to specimen size. Best fished in late Summer, Autumn and Winter when there is more water in the river.

APPROACHES

Harleston: from Tamworth take ‘B’ road signposted Harleston. Turn left at pub and the right over river bridge. Park on roadside then cross field and over footbridge.
