Beware overhead powerlines

DESCRIPTION

Close to three miles of right bank fishing upstream of Cilcewydd Bridge. Best tackled by travelling light and on foot. Salmon and coarse fish can be found in the deeper holes and on the many twists and bends.

APPROACHES

Forden: from Welshpool take A483 turning left at A490 over Cilcewydd, taking next right for BAA car park near railway crossing. For upstream water, continue on A490 turning right on B4388 and right again into Forden, then right yet again past church and to BAA car park.
Members must not take their cars through the gate at the end of the track here. Beware overhead powerlines
