The river here starts to deepen and loses it’s pace. Still plenty of Barbel, plus Bream, Chub & Roach, especially late in the season. Pike to 30lbs have been taken below the football pitch at Ribbesford.
Ribbesford: cross Severn at Bewdley and turn left on B4194 (Stourport) road, parking alongside fishery.Lickhill: from Stourport take B4195 towards Bewdley. Turn left at traffic lights signed Lickhill then right at sign for Lickhill Manor Caravan Park. Turn turn right off lane along track to BAA car park. Follow footpath to river. For upstream access continue on B4195 turning left at sign for Lickhill Quarry (constant). Follow road signs for Severn Bank Caravan Park, parking in BAA car park near to entrance to caravan site. Follow footpath to river.Beware overhead powerlines
