DESCRIPTION

Grimley: Still thought of as “Middle” Severn, the river here below Holt Fleet Bridge begins to widen & deepen with average depths of six to eight foot. Plenty of Chub & Barbel to be found, plus a resident shoal of Big Bream in the upper reaches.
Hallow: A good “mixed” fishery below Bevere Weir. Barbel, Bream, Chub & Roach predominantly plus large Pike.

APPROACHES

Grimley: Turn left into Grimley village past Wagon Wheel Inn then down track to car park.
Hallow (sections 1-3): As for Grimley but turn right in Grimley village for Camp Hotel but do not park in pub car park.
Hallow (sections 4-5): Continue past Grimley on A443, turning left half a mile past church (see map) down track next to North Lodge for BAA car park. (No Coaches).Beware overhead powerlines
