Where to fish

The river here is tidal and anglers should take care as the river can rise several feet in a shortime. Bream are the main species, with Roach, Pike and Eels also present.

Deerhurst: from Tewkesbury take A38 south, turning right on to B4213 then right again for Deerhurst, parking near to “Odda’s Chapel”.
Apperley: continue on B4213 then turn right through Apperley village, then down Gabb Lane parking as for Apperley pools.Beware overhead powerlines
