DESCRIPTION

Relatively Shallow stretch of the Avon with deeper water towards the downstream section. Popular with match & pleasure anglers because vehicles may be driven along the bank and parked behind their chosen peg. Chub, Roach, Perch & Barbel plus occasional Trout can be caught mainly on light float tackle.

APPROACHES

Manor Farm: from M40 junction 15 take A429 towards Wellesbourne. Pass through Barford turning right at sign for Wasperton Village. For ‘Manor Farm’ continue through village to T junction.
For upstream car park turn right past ‘Private Road’ sign and follow track to Riverside Meadows, or turn left then right down track to river.
Special Regulation: At Manor Farm members may drive along river bank if conditions allow.
