Nicknamed “Banana Lake” by the RAF pilots who regularly sweep down the
valley on training flights, it is obvious to see why. The East Lake has 1,300 yards of fishable bank with 50 well built pegs in two sections ‘A’&’B’. The lake is
shallow with average depths of 4’ and is renowned for its Tench & Bream
fishing. A few Large Carp are also resident.
Strictly no night fishing.

APPROACHES

Walcot East Lake: at Ludlow, take A49(Shrewsbury) road to Craven Arms, turning left on B4368 to Little Bromton, turning right on B4385 to Lydbury North and entry to estate by Powis Arms Pub.
Please take your litter home.
No night fishing allowed.
