Hello Fellow D’anglers,
Especially the Club Secretary’s of Angling Clubs.
If you have not read the reply from Wilkeskf who is a member of FISH LEGAL, on the Paul Whitehouse Documentary on Water Pollution from the Water being discharged into UK Rivers by the Water Utilities.
The gist of it is that you log into this link that I shall display below:

http://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/633609......

To ADD YOUR CLUB’s NAME, and for your Club Members to sign it also.

Furthermore I have also read that Matt Hayes is suggesting that Anglers withdraw from paying the EA Licence Fee!
Then I understood why he has that point of view, when I read that
The EA admitted that it “No Longer has a Target for Inspecting Sewage Works - despite visiting only 6% in a year!!
Prosecutions of Polluters by the EA fell from 768 to 17 in a year!!
Water Utilities are expected to “Self Report their own Illegal Spillages”

How utterly irresponsible and dangerous these actions of and by the EA and the Water Utilities are as it will only lead to more people becoming seriously ILL or Dying from a Waterborne disease Caught from Contaminated Water!.

Hello Fellow D’anglers,
I have signed the petition so can you by just clicking on the link
you will need to have an email address to confirm your support.

There are just under 10,000 signed up so far, so every one of us needs to support this to stop our Rivers becoming even more regular stinking sewers!

Save our Rivers and Sign the Petition, get behind Fish Legal, Paul Whitehouse and Fergal Sharkey

So that we can

Keep on Fishing… in Cleaner Waters….

Hi Reg

Thanks for that. I've signed it.

Warning for others though that when you click on the "Petition" link in your message, the page opens to a *.Gov message that reads that the petition does not exist BUT IT CAN BE FOUND when you search in the section labelled "OPEN PETITIONS".

I found your *.jpg useful too Reg so that I knew which petition I was searching for, so thanks again mate.

Cheers

Hi HOT,
It is a disappointment to say the least at the poor take up.
Especially as it directly affects our pastime?

Did you watch the BBC Countryfile program last night?
They did a special edition on the appalling state of the River Wye,
in which it was stated that the
River Wye
WOULD BE BIOLOGICALLY DEAD WITHIN 2 YEARS!

For those fellow d’anglers that have not yet signed the petition ?
Why not?
It does not take long on line,
or send a message to your Local Councillor and your MP demanding them
to do something about the Sewage being discharged by the Water Utilities!!

So that we still have a chance to

Keep on Fishing …
