Does anyone do much Canal fishing on our stretch of the Birmingham/Fazley canel?
Be interested to find out how it fishes, and some parking details to get to the canal.
I'm in the Kingsbury AC and they have the canal from where our waters end but not fished any of it yet

You can park adjacent to the bridge at Bodymoor Heath, almost opposite the turning for the Dog and Doublet and Marston Farm Hotel. Space for around 4 cars but I've also seen people park a bit further along in the direction of Kingsbury Water Park.

I've only fished it a couple of times, just recently got back into it and dropped some lures in on the stretch between Bodymoor Heath and the M42. Didn't do any good but more likely down to me.

Next time I go I'll try the other direction, between BH and Fazeley. Although being drawin in by the Avon at the moment.

fished it a few times last year on the Drayton Manor swing bridge section and park at the swing bridge, had mainly perch and roach but found it OK both times.
