I’m after some info on parking at eckington
Am I right I’m thinking you park in the car park then walk over the bridge or can you park in the actual field the BAa stretch is
Many thanks

Seem to remember a generous car park by the bridge, but it has been about 35 years since I last fished there!

Parking is in the car park then walk over the bridge. There is no parking in the field.
I have seen a car parked on the grass verge - not sure if this is legal though.
On word of warning - get there early as the car park gets very full. Due to canoeists and people swimming the river (this can be a pain in the a### as they take ages to get through your swim).
If you are after the bream, your best bet is the swans neck at the end of the stretch. Quite a fair walk but can be worth it.

Cheers guys will probably stick to nafford then if it gets busy there, was just after a place I could get to teach my son how to fish the river and the rewards you get from it compared to a lake
