Being in Pershore today, I took a detour to check out the damaged bridge crossing York Ditch. Found that no repairs have been made, only a plank nailed across the dangerous slanting section. This bridge is very dangerous and is an accident waiting to happen. I reported this some weeks ago but received no answer to when any repairs are likely. Can we have some observations/answers please.

Re: York Ditch at Wick

Brinky, I'm not sure if the bridge is the responsibility of the BAA as I believe they only have the fishing rights on that section and I think it's a public right of way. A phone call to the headquarters after 9.30 am would probably give you some information on who's responsible for the repair.
