We went and had an enjoyable day at Pensham this week.
Nice weather although a bit windy.
Mixed bags of fish with perch to 1lb 8oz and roach to about 12oz all on maggot.
The only downside to the day was having to hump the tackle and trolley over the style, which did my dodgy back and hips no good at all.
It would improve the access for us not too fit old guys if the BAA were able to get the farmer to let them put one of our combination locks on the gate, which is right next to the style.
An easy fix to a frustrating problem, if the farmer will allow it.
This would give an easy access to all of the top meadows.
Downstream is a different story but we can't have everything, can we?
