Does anyone know how to access Barton down stream of the car park? (Marked "2" on the BAA map.) Since the new moorings have been built I can't find any way to get close to the river.

You have to walk around the moorings and get back on the river bank. Its narrow so don't go with heavy baggage, and there is only one or possibly two places where you can get to the water. But the swims are far deeper and wider than upstream.
