Had a drive up to Hampton Loade this afternoon. As usual signs of illegal fishing in the second meadow along with a discarded disposable BBQ left on the bank. Loads of people walking litter everywhere, only three fishing, Dog mess everywhere. Went to Blackstone on the way back and found the gate lock open with the code still showing. Why cant people be responsible and respectful anymore ?

Hampton loade always reminds me of the Blackpool on the river Severn particularly with the unicorn campsite on the opposite bank, funny though it's where I caught my biggest ever barbel but I rarely fish there for obvious reasons, incidentally was the lock missing at blackstone?
