We went to Mythe Pool yesterday (11/05/16), fishing was slow but had a a few fish between us, bream to 5lbs and tench to 4lbs 10oz.
With all this wet weather we are having, if it continues, especially with several contests coming up, the track will become impassable to ordinary cars!
It is nice to see that the BAA are doing something about it by laying down some hardcore in some places, but a lot more needs doing, even if it costs a few bob.
In my humble opinion the hardcore would be better utilised if it is only placed where the vehicle wheels actually run.
It would go a lot further and really it is just wasted if it is put where the wheels never run ie; the middle three feet or so.
