The padlock is missing - guess someone went in and failed to lock the gate and left the lock itself unclasped and someone has helped themselves to it?

Re: Northwood car park

Was like it last week Yorkie.....it's more likely a member has taken it, as they know the code.

Not a surprise to be honest, I spoke to the farmer when i was there, he said a lot of the trainspotters use the car park too, as it's just under the railway.

Re: Northwood car park

I posted on 1st July, this year, when the original lock was installed following the news feed and 'updated Where to fish map', which informed members of the code for this lock.see Northwood Lane Car Park Lock under General Chat headings. I warned that the lock would 'go missing' by a number of possible ways. Seems like I was correct, albeit taken a lot longer than I had anticipated! Posting a code on a website, which is accessible to all, invites none-members to access the car park and potentially remove the lock into the bargain.

Did the presence of the lock, initially, prevent build up of litter, which was a reason to put a lock on there in the 1st place.
