We have a match here soon, so I had a walk along to see how many pegs are available from the bridge which is boomed of for repairs. The first 4 pegs are not fish able due to this I counted 6 rough pegs, with a few older members in our club I would say no to fishing there due to safety concerns as it is it to dangerous. So I went to the other side of the gut, with a long walk up to the back end of wick above the weir I counted 6 pegs, with 15 members in our club it looks like our first match of the season will have to be cancelled. I know the river is running a foot up but the question is has any other club had a match here recently and how many members fished?

Re: Pershore L/BIs it just the left bank you have got booked or have you got the right bank below the bridge too?

Re: Pershore L/BOh ok,like you say that boom that’s there has cancelled the first couple of pegs out until the work has finished. We usually have both banks on our matches there and even before the work started on the bridge would only put 5 pegs above the bridge at most. The problem up there is we don’t own the land hence why there aren’t any platforms and access for parking isn’t as good as the right bank below the bridge.I suspect also after the way the river levels have been the last year or so that any steps cut into the bank may have been washed away.

Re: Pershore L/BWhy don't you contact the office, I'm sure they would move your club to another venue on the day? They have helped my club in similar circumstances in the past.
