So not after specific swims just want ideas thats all. Is Ripple any good for Preds, went there today tried few lures but hit more snags than any fish. Does uckinghall have any predators in it. Just trying to find somewhere to have a fish, for someone who is new to pike fishing. I have caught couple just not fished loads cheers

Re: Predator fishingLoads at ripple/birds. Big girls too. Also the lower reaches of the Avon around wood end/mythe farm have plenty, although I find dead baits work far better than lures round there. Pensham on the other hand I've had some excellent days with the spinning gear. Need to go back really, haven't been for a few years. Can't say about the pools though.
