Gave it a try today as it's nearby, fished downstream of the bridge. Obviously water is low at the moment, 2 to 3 feet deep max with many shallow runs. Fished 4 different pegs, had small roach, chub, an eel and a trout, the trout being the biggest at about 8oz. Also a few minnows but not enough to be a pain considering I used maggots.

As the BAA suggests it's a roving water, travel light, a short session venue, evening / half a day type water although I did 6 hours and had about a dozen fish excluding the minnows. Judging by the water line along the bank it looks about a foot down on normal level, will be interesting to see if some rain brings the bigger fish out.

Very peaceful there, little traffic on the adjacent lane, easy parking. Hope this info helps if you are thinking of giving it a go. Couple of pics attached to give the general idea of what it's like.
