Been some cracking photos of the Salmon, Trout and Grayling on the main page, not to mention Shad, also been good to hear of all the good work that's been going on from the fisheries team. This forum is quiet all year round anyway

Unfortunately, opening weekend is looking like a total washout which apart from being bad for fishing is not going to be great for fry recruitment.

Lower Avon will fish well thou. makes a change from low clear rivers.
the fry iv seen on the rivers this year has been very good
