It seems that the recent fire in a Telford recycling plant has polluted the Severn.
Fortunately, the river is running relatively high, but abstraction has apparently been restricted.
Does anybody know more?

I know Trimpley reservoir wasn’t taking any water due to this for a few days but it has started topping up again now.
