Hello Fellow D’anglers,
To compliment the excellent BAA Guide to Waters 2023 I have now looked at the Bridge and Locks that feature on page 87 for the Trent & Mersey Canal at Fradley.
Take the Hay End Road that continues on to “Fradley Junction” on Hay End Lane, crossing the bridge there is limited roadside parking.
Bridge 50 - (carries Hay End Lane), Lock 15 (Hunts Lock), approx 989 yards to Lock 14 (Fradley Marina), then approx 1,300 yards to Bridge 49 -(carries A513)

if you thought there was a lot of boats at the lock inn stretch of the staffs/worc cut you'll be in for a shock at fradley, it's like the M6 of the waterways. very busy none stop boats all day long.
