The Girling AS guys were looking forward to Wick on the 10th October, it always fishes well but as a lot of BAA venues this season it's a little overgrown. One of our members found 10 fishable pegs during a visit last week.
Three Girling AS guys went to Wick today and in 2 hours cleared the 20 pegs above the lock removing several branches and its now very fishable.
I note that there is a club there Sunday 4th October, you will find the pegs are sorted, i would appreciate it if you could let me know how you get on.
Car Park - I noticed today that there are tyre tracks to the end peg, anyone who's been there knows it's a long walk pulling your gear. Why can't the BAA negotiate with the land owner to allow cars beyond the current Car Park. Without the walk this venue would be booked every week.

Well done to you Frank and the Girling Club members for doing the bank clearance.
It brings back memories of the days when a lot more clubs used to do this in the close season.
I also support your suggestion regarding the access to pegs with a vehicle if possible.

Would be brilliant if you could drive up to the pegs as we all know it’s a very long walk but good fishing well done the girling lads
