Re: Bridge at Wick

Happy New Year Brinky
If the bridge at Wick has not been repaired then that is a shame, as this issue was originally flagged up last July!
As it so happens I have been looking at “Recycled Products” produced by a British Company Marmax based in Stanley County Durham.
They produce Fishing Platforms, Walkways and Bridges with all the necessary fixings and support legs. They even provide a 25 year Guarantee.

I have attached an image off their product page hoping that it may be useful for the management when they get round to replacing the bridge at Wick or putting in new “Pegs” on any of our Fisheries

Keep on Fishing

Re: Bridge at Wick

As far as I’m aware the bridge is not the responsibility of the BAA it’s either the land owner or the council I can’t remember which, but there has been numerous requests from us to get it sorted.

Re: Bridge at Wick

Happy new year Reg,and all fellow anglers, glad to see fishing restrictions have been lifted 8th Jan. Thanks also for the link to the plastic bridge site, most interesting ! Let's hope the powers to be take note and follow this up with the land owners. This is one of our favourite venues and really
hope this can be resolved,it has dragged on a long time, it might help if more anglers voiced their concerns regarding this issue. Tight lines to you all ! Brinky.
