The final club match of the year for the lads and as expected we were greeted with a cold, gin clear canal and only two boats through in five hours, floating leaves and the ones on the bottom proved troublesome at times. Most catches were made up of perch, skimmers and a few chub.

1st Paul Skidmore 7 - 5 - 0 ( Pole fished worm and caster accounted for a chub along with perch )

2nd Howard Dodd 6 - 13 - 0 ( Skimmers and perch )

3rd Jon Baker 6 - 11 - 0

4th Garry Mason 6 - 8 - 0

5th Sean Waite 5 - 6 - 0

Thanks Again Ollie
for providing us non competitive D’anglers with a nice concise report from your Contest at Hinksford

What is heartening for me to read is that your Top5 weighed in 32lb of fish from a Gin Clear and cold Canal and just a few miles down from where the IWP Contest will be fished on the 17th.

Wishing You and your Club Fishermen a Very Merry Christmas and a Tight Lines Happy New Year

Keep on Fishing
