Once again, we had to move anglers on ....This is getting very frequent lately, anyway as we all no the rivers are very low at the moment and very clear.14 turned out to fish this and i must admit .even though we had 1 to 4 meadows it was a struggle to get pegs in especially trying to do it safely as the banks get steeper as you get older grin.id like to thank the BAA bank team for clearing pegs much appreciated .Top rod on the day was Andy Marsh with 8-15-8 mainly of skimmers roach and perch to feeder tactics. Here are the top 8.......

1st A Marsh 8-15-8 Feeder Skimmer/roach/perch
2nd J Burton 4-14-0 whip/Bleak
3rd S Ryan 4-2-0 Bolo/perch/roach
4th D Wright 3-8-0 feeder roach/perch

Re: Severn Stoke 3/9/22

Thank you Travellers,
Once again for providing a concise report on your contest, and the methods used by your anglers to catch their fish.

Great to see a variety of methods being used, it certainly provides food for thought about how to fish a venue, and on the right day when the conditions are perfect who can rule out a cracking catch using the Bolo?

I agree with your comments on the steep banks on the rivers, be it the Severn or the Teme!

But having fished at Birds Meadow recently, the Fisheries Team have made it easier to get down the banks by digging steps and then being able to fish from sturdy platforms.

Therefore if it was a choice, do we upgrade the website, OR provide more Fishable Pegs, then spend the money on the Pegs, so that we can….

Keep on Fishing
