thanks for the reply's think i will have do do a bit of gardening work to be able to fish it!
there are some very large elusive fish down there have seen them myself some monsters in the margins walked the dog further down this morning and heard a massive crash in the water turned round though a sheep fell in but nothing there just a massive ripple good signs!
ive now joined another club further down on the tidal part where the pegs are in much better condition and looked after but this will be my first season on the tidal part so will take your advise about the rising water etc

it looks that way its annoying as i live right near it so ideal for me wish they would put it up for sale
i would like to buy the stretch off them and actually look after it

Took a walk down the deerhurst/apperley strech this evening with a plan to fish it when season opens
Really disappointed its all completly over grown could only walk down to 1 swim this has been really negleted stinging nettles way above my waist
Also walked up to apperley pools same thing completly overgrown and neglected
Have baa thought about selling this strech so it can put back to how it was and looked after
