im going fishing

Like the subject says , I'm going fishing... IV done the decent thing and checked the booked waters page and this coming Saturday 25/11/2023 no matches on the staffy cut.. so im off to THE LOCK INN.. ,, i don't fancy a missive walk so I'm going above the lock and just past the sand stone wall till i find the first peg with a feature to fish too..
My approach will be liquidized bread and punch on the far shelf (ROACH) ,, ill plumb up and find the deepest part of the track to fish chopped worm and casters ( ANY BONUS FISH)and a topkit line to the left or right ( front shelf ) with fluro pinkies.... hoping for anything that swims..
Good or bad ill take a pic of my final net and let you know how i got on...

As always each and everyone of the BAA members are welcome to join me .

Wolverley S/W canal bridge 20 (lock inn) 25/11/23
and it geos without saying a couple of light refreshments after in the pub

Re: b.a.a. forum d’anglers AC an EXTRA Contest Date Saturday 13th April 2024

RIGHT ..lets get the ball rolling .. firstly id like to thank KEITH for thinking about us and offering this great opportunity to fish his club waters on the Fazleley canal.. this is a great chance for 2 reasons .. 1st its and foremost its a opportunity to meet up and fish with our founder and grand ambassador KEITH CARLINGFORD,, that in itself is a good enough reason to put your name on the list.
2nd .. its a good stretch of water to fish at a good time of the year ( it been a while for me but iv had great days over there in the past).
The opportunity of fishing this match with the added bonus of a pint and a chat with Keith in person ( instead of postings on here ) is something we should all take advantage of .. please put my name down on the list as a yes + 2 NORM ,,,CHARLIE ....

Lads you better sharpen your pencil because Keith is playing on his home turf..

with great acceptance.

Re: 2024 BAA CARD - Paid - 8p a day a No Brainer for us old d’anglers & 11p a day for Adults.

that's the best 30 quid you will spend for 2024.
The value for money is outstanding...
I forgot your in the 8 pence a day bracket REG (lucky sod ).
I however , who is not far behind you have to shell out a whooping 11 pence a day ( daylight robbery ).
As you know i get my moneys worth , im out at least twice a week..
