Re: Ribbesford

Agree, probably back in the seventy’s many a good days fishing at Ribbesford. Anyone remember the old tin roofed shack along the road section for when it was raining.

Great memories, have to revisit sometime

Re: The Latest News = May Upper Severn Report & Photos of the Strimming at Aberbechan

Regarding the what3words information being provided, why not do it yourself. Whenever I visit a new (to me) location I spend a couple of minutes the day before getting the what3words information simply by cross referencing the BAA location info with the W3W app. May not get me within a meter but close enough.

Re: Prompt service from the BAA

Totally agree with the 2 above posts re gates left open. Otter proofing a venue is not as simple as it sounds.

As for postage cost for renewal reminders, my first thought was do we really need a reminder ? Renewal is the 1st of January every year.
But, having said that - if the cost of the postage to send a reminder earns a renewal of £40 then maybe money well spent. Difficult not to send out membership cards via post though.

And yes, I had my new membership card though very quickly on the run up to Christmas without the need for a reminder.

Re: Annual renewals

So what would be the advantage in a non fully automatic gate…..

Why feel the need to reply in BOLD
