Again echo everything you say KenL.
As someone who learnt his "trade on the rivers and had the priveledges of piking regularly with the late John Sidley all these stupid rules do my head in !!!!!
The BAA has never encouraged or supported the predator angler.
Meanwhile they are happy to see 100lb of barbel put in a keepnet !!!!!!

Club has always been run by the match nods with no regard for other facets of angling especially predator anglers !!!
A lot of the waters are in a terrible state but still they impose such archaic rules alienating a large portion of anglers !!!!

Not interested in the melee for stretches like Fladbury so looking for a quieter stretch.

Thanks for the reply but I think we have a case of mistaken identity as I haven't been to Eckington for about 10 yrs
I was up at Nafford last week but the river was quite coloured , only had 1 half hearted take but failed to connect properly .
Will hopefully be on the bank this weekend now it's stopped raining !
