The Wye and Severn levels have been hideous of late. Gods knows when I will be getting the fly rod out or even the spinning rod

Hi,
Now the season is coming to a close I fancy doing a bit of salmon fly fishing during the close season.
Quick question does the Wye have any decent fly water as I have never fished it.
Or has any bits on the Severn worth giving the fly rod a go for Salmon?????????

Anyone for help ????
Its a 200 mile round trip for me from Burton, so was hoping for a little bit of info if any one has fished it before I spend the petrol money
