Isn't it time for the BAA to ban the retention of barbel in keepnets?

Perhaps I was being too polite - you're spot on Belsh. Slipped a disc in Feb at Bransford - worried I might do the same with that bloody gate.
Had any barbel out from Cotheridge this season?

Enjoyed the video John - as I fish Trimpley which is a very long walk, it must be worth a try at Northwood!

Just returned from a trip to Cotheridge and would like to report the following...
Access was tricky as some genius has decided to erect two badly fitted metal gates, making access difficult for the lone angler. More worryingly, four of the five chub I caught all showed damage to their tail fins and bloody wounds. Could this be evidence of otter attack?
Any other members had similar experiences?
